SHORTS: Old Navy (wearing an XL) // TANK: Old Navy // SANDALS: Old Navy (sold out but similar here and here)

How gorgeous is this town?  I've loved coming here for years because of the elegance and cohesiveness the town has.  I love the looks of the white crisp buildings with dark contrasting wood doors and garages.  This boardwalk running under the tree canopy made me feel as I was in a dream!  I took my high school senior pictures here 3 years ago so it was fun coming back for another photoshoot!

This outfit was perfect for the streets of Rosemary beach.  I wanted to wear something that could be worn for walking around such a charming town and something that could be worn by the beach.  Again with the Florida heat, these loose shorts were perfect to spend the day in.  Secret though... I got them from the kids section at Old Navy!  Their larger sizes are equivalent to their women's' XS or even S.  Plus they were even cheaper because they were from the kids section!  The tank and sandals are also from Old Navy but from the big girls section ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Xoxo, Al

Watercolor Daze

Watercolor Daze

TOP: Topshop (For refernce I'm wearing a size 6) // BOTTOMS: Old Navy (old but similar here and here) // SHOES: Steve Madden (Under $40!) // WATCH: Charming Charlie EARRINGS: similar here

My family and I take a trip south every summer and this year we visited our cousins in Florida!  Because they've lived there so long, they knew the best places to go and had days planned full of things to do.  Our first day there we drove over to Watercolor beach and rented bikes from the resort.  We rode around the grounds that were absolutely beautiful.  The path we took brought us by the rows of bright colored houses and over a bridge of a lake.  We took the path to the neighboring town that I'm sure many of you are familiar with, Seaside!  We spent the day eating and shopping around the boutiques.  There was one store that offered us wine while we were shopping (it was definitely my mom and aunt's favorite ;) ).  The town was stunning as it had a bright pastel theme but each building was unique from one another.  I could've spent the whole week there and never had gotten tired of it!

I love being in Florida in the summer but the Florida heat is a whole different game!  I wore flowy shorts and a loose tank to stay cool during the day, especially while on a bike.  The shorts I wore are a little high waisted with a tie front that gives them a more elegant look than your typical loose shorts that were perfect for a day in Seaside.  I love the palm print for on vacation and keeping it simple with a white tank that goes with everything.  I picked a few everyday gold accent jewelry pieces to complete the look.

Xoxo, Al
