Making an Entrance

Making an Entrance
Hey all!

Here I am, writing my first post.  I have followed many fashion/lifestyle blogs over years and have always dreamed of having my own one day.  So now, home for the summer from college, Blonde on High is born.

This last semester of college was quite a defining semester for me.  I made the decision the second week into the year that after 3 semesters of pre-med classes, it was not my major.  PR has always been a hobby (following blogs, helping a family friend with planning her wedding, etc) and I decided that I'd try a semester taking these classes.  So far, one semester in, I love it!

I'm currently a sophomore at Virginia Tech and am obsessed.  I came home this week for the summer and I may have cried a little as my friend and I pulled out from our apartment.  But it only makes me more excited for the fall semester filled with Hokie football and PSLs!

I dyed my hair blonde for the first time a couple months ago so half of these pictures are from pre-hair dye.  I firmly believe that I wasn't born blonde, but I was born to be blonde.  So far, I'm lovin' it!

I'm also a member of Alpha Chi Omega at VT.  I feel like I have gained so much more involvement from just being a member of this sorority.  From participating in various philanthropies, gaining 250 new sisters for life, and always having a social event on the calendar, I have no idea what my life would be like without it.  I definitely encourage anyone to rush at their school and believe there is a home for everyone.

As much as I love my time at school, I am SO excited for this summer.  Summer means tan skin, fresh fruit from my garden, and so much free time which I hope to use to get my blog started!  We also go to a beach every year and I can't wait to share my trip with you all.

My vision for BOH is to share outfit inspiration, travel experiences, beauty reviews, and workouts from the Pilates class I teach.

Thanks for hanging out for a little while on Blonde on High!

Xoxo, Al
