Memorial day weekend has always been a special time in my family.  Having grown up in a military family, I've always been surrounded by people dedicating their lives for our country.  This weekend we honor those who have been laid to rest by honoring our country.  Whether we observe the holiday with friends or to visit memorials with family, may we remember their sacrifices.  How lucky are we to be able to live in a country that soldiers surrender everything for what it stands for?!
